UMW Over 80’s Luncheon

Today at 12:00 noon a Luncheon and Memorial Service was held in the fellowship hall in honor of the women who have blessed our church with 80 years or more of their service.

This Luncheon and Memorial Service is sponsored by the United Methodist Women, our four Circle ,Agape, Dorcus, Joy-Us and Mary Circles, provided the salads and deserts.
Lucille Nelson welcomed everyone and presented ladies with corsages she had made.
Pastor Donna opened with prayer.

Entertainment was offered by Whitney, who sang " Jesus Walked this Lonesome Valley"

The banner team presented a program "Banners of Faith" showing many of the banners and talking about how they are designed and constructed. Three new banners Faith, Hope and Love were made in their honor and will be dedicated during the worship service on Sunday. Dort Jeppessen gave several devotional readings.

A memorial service was held for women of our church who have died in the last year.
